Terrin can answer your question on cost. There's nothing really special about
the Hotshot CAI. However, there aren't that many other manufacturers of CAI's
for the GA16 or the SR20 (Place Racing, I believe, is the only other one.)
Both CAI's are good, however, some have reported fitment problems with the
Place Racing CAI; 2 that I know personally, including myself, but they have
SR20's, as do I. I have since switched to the Hotshot CAI, and it fits nearly
perfect (can't say perfect, because nothing is.) It's a good intake to get,
and Terrin trying to put up a group deal for you guys, so if you got the money,
and still got that convoluted mess of a stock intake/airbox, go for it! I can
only think of three reasons not to get it:

1. You don't have money.

2. You don't have a GA16 or an SR20

3. You run your car in some SCCA Showroom Stock class or SCCA Solo 2 stock
class, and you're not allowed to modify your airbox.

So... You got a group deal going; the price will be cheaper than retail... so
why not capitalize on it?
