And I'm right. What's your point? So would that make you stupid?
>Damn Terrin are you stupid or something? You're the one who first mentioned
>about spending $1000 to make an "SE-R" go in the 14s.
You stated that with your friend in the car, you run 0-60 5.8-6.3 seconds
slower. So that is running 0-60 in about 14 seconds. That is awfully slow.
Your friend is lying if he's telling you that he weighs 150.
>"Granted you are heavier, but you still should be in the 15's. GTECH's
>suck. Yeah, I'm sure 150 lbs is going to slow you down by 5.8 to 6.3
>seconds from 0-60. Hmm...so you're saying a geo metro with 3 cylinders
>would be faster from 0-60 just because you have a passenger in the car?"
You still have to shift.
>emissions crap and I still get 2.3s like yours. Talking bout skills? >Go
>figure...
No, how idiotic can YOU get. Yeah, the redline was lowered, but the 95+
engines have more low and midrange grunt than the older ones. That's why
they still are equivalently as fast. Also, if you've ever seen any dyno
charts of SE-R's, 95+ are not putting any less peak hp to the ground than
stock 91-94's.
>"I don't know where you get this information from but my engine is rated
>140, so is yours."
>Damn how idiotic can you get. Everyone knows that the older SE-Rs are
>quicker than the new ones. They have implemented so many emissions crap
>over the years, hp is dramatically decreased. Rated hp is crap. The LX
>accord is rated at 135hp but only generates 92hp to the wheels. C'mon man
>you act like u know it all, how can u not know such simple stuff like this.
I wasn't relating the two. I wanted to know if your car wasn't making the
power it should. If you are good, you don't need an auto to be consistent.
I used to be able to roll off consistent .5XX reaction times even with my
manual. But then again, that's when I used to go almost every week. No,
consistency determines who wins in bracket racing, not drag racing. Get a
clue man. I have far more drag race experience than you so don't even try
to claim that shit. That must feel pretty shitty to lose to a grandma.
I've actually been runner up on more than a few occasion at Sacramento
Raceway with my 200SX, what's your point?
>Doo Terrin, you are being gay again. What does speed have to do with
>consistency? Consistency determines who wins in the drag, not speed. You
>should know that if you ever even been to one b4. And I was the last
>surviving manual for a few times. The best race I had, I lasted to the
>final race where I was defeated by a grandma driving an automatic suv. Her
>time was .01sec off her window time! So she won the night. And if you ever
>been to the drag, you would know how much autos have over manuals in
>consistency. How many times have you lasted over 4 rounds? I bet if you
>race, you would lose to the first auto u go up against.
Now the truth comes out. Your trap speed is way too low. Your racetrack is
really high elevation or you shift really really low, or your car is fucked
up.
>My trap speed is 84mph. But hey it's 100% stock with full interior and
>spare-tires.
I never said you suck. I just said it's all in driver skill. I don't know
it all. In fact, I barely know anything compared to some of the guys on
this list and the SE-R list. But I am open to learn, which you should try
doing.
>Go do some research and learn what drag racing is before you go criticizing
>and pissing people off on the mailing list. You keep saying everyone sucx
>and act like you know it all. What about yourself? Quit talking mean to
>everyone. This is supposed to be a friendly list. Grow up man!
