I personally don't think that getting modifications to cover up for problems
in the engine is the right way to go about it. I really doubt the headers
and exhaust will give you a few more mpg too. Something is wrong there if
he has the GA and is getting 17-22 mpg. Either it is his driving style, or
something is wrong. FWIW, when I had my 200SX, I would get 40+ mpg highway
driving, and high 30's in street driving.
