if it was yor powersteering your steering wheel would stick in one direction 
and wouldn't coorect itself.  now to me it sounds like c.v. axles or brakes . 
 both are easy to change and i work at autozone so i know we carry both axles 
and they are lifetime guaranteed . brake pads are also lifetime. if ya got 
anymore q's  e-mail me   i have change all the powersteering cv axles and 
brakes!    I   have a 1992 sentra xe  goodluck!
