I don't know what the problem is but no matter what I
do I can't get more then 3 1/4 quarts of oil in when I
change it. Does anybody else have this problem.
When I change it I warm the car up. I jack up the car
enough to get to the drain plug and take off the oil
fill cap on top of the engine. Then I lower the car
and drain all of the oil (like 15 min-I make sure all
of it is out) I then raise the car up and do the oil
filter. After that I put everything back on and fill
it. I put 3 quarts in and it's just above the H mark.
I then run it for 15 min to get it nice and warm.

Now with all that done I check it and it is about a
tad more then 3/4 of the way up the cross-section that
is where the 1/4 of a quart goes in.
Am I doing something wrong. I thought maybe I just
needed to drive it some. I checked it after 100 miles
and it's the same. I checked it after I 2hour trip
and it is still the same.

I don't burn any oil. I change the oil every 3,000
mile and it is clean as can be: no grim, no grit,it's
not to dark, just smooth as silk.

I don't know what is wrong. I thought this
engine(1.6) takes like 4-4.5 quarts. Am I wrong.
What is up with this.
