I have used a 50 horsepower NOS set up for over 2 years and have gone
through 72 bottles of nitrous. My 1.6 has run [EMAIL PROTECTED] with 18 inch
wheels and everything in it. When I first installed the nitrous on it, it ran
15.3@89mph. Some fine tuning with the fuel jet size and timing got it down to
14.71. You need to leave your timing at stock or even retard it 2 degrees.
Put the coldest spark plug you can get. I use Autolite 3922. Make sure you
change your fuel filter regularly. And always run at least 92 octane gas. My
car only had a Stillen air filter and 2 1/4 cat back exhaust. No header, no
ECU, and no aftermarket ignition. I have been running Nitrous on cars for
about 12 years and can't live without it.
