It ran for a little while [very rough idle] stumbling and coughing. But once the engine was shut off the thing didn't start anymore. So it is possible. Why do you want the fuel pump changed? Do you even know for sure if it is bad? No point in fixing something that ain't even broke. Right now, the fuel pump is the least of your problems. I guess it isn't such a huge surprise something like this happended on a 91'.
