Bottom line, yes, I now have 2 problems.
The fuel pump/filter was the reason this whole thing started.

Recall, the car was not consistently able to start.
I left the car running, and caused the overheat/oil spill.
Fixing the head gasket doesn't get rid of the original problem of why it
wasn't starting. (Unless the original reason the car wasnt starting was
the head gasket, but there was no oil spill until the overheating)

Correct, the fuel pump was never confirmed to be bad, b/c it MAY have been
just the fuel filter that was preventing it from starting. But the only
time I started it after changing the filter caused the possible head gasket
damage. So, I can't tell now if its the head gasket or the fuel pump (or
both) that prevents it from starting.
