Tony:
Check up under the dash on the passerger side on Nova's there is a cable that
runs from the dash down to the heater, what happens sometimes if your lucky
is the end of this control cable has a wire that runs thru it (looks like the
gas control on a lawn mower) and the end where it hooks up to the heater
controls (the parts that are bolted on to the firewall on the inside of the
car) is shaped like a Z at the very end and hooks into the door that opens
and closes and lets the amount of out side air or the air from the fan enter
the car what happens is this Z shaped end some times works itself off of the
arm and needs to be hooked back on again, if you can work the lever on the
dash and while watching under the dash the door doesn't open and close then
most likely the wire inside the cable has broken into two and the hole cable
will will need to be replaced, if it turns out to be the hole cable figure on
spending about $20.00 on parts and about 3 hours of time to replace the cable.
Ron
Ps Hows the brakes on the rear of that old Nova now days?
