Oh you mean the FAN doesn't work...

There is a current regulator..I do not know where it
is in the NOVA but it is like a credit card for our
cars.
That needs to be replaced.
I had this problem with my Sentra where switch 1 did
not work at first then 2 and 3 went and only 4 worked.
I changed the regulator...very simple...and it was
like new again.
It usually is under the dash area close to where the
FAN box is located... I am not too sure with your
Womans' Nova though..
I would guess if you looked in a Chiltons or just ask
one of the parts store guys..they should know..
NAPA or Parts america.. Sometimes PEP boys sales
people and technicians are not quite up to par with
their "complete" automotive knowledge..but it varied
from store to store.
