Mike:
This is just a thought, sents your going to have both axles removed and
replaced to repair the axel boots why not just have new or rebuilt axels put
in on both sides, sents its a 92 SE year model chanches are theres a lot of
miles on the car already and they could be about ready to go out anyway, at
least make sure they are cleaned up and repacked. If you do decide to go with
the new or rebuilt axels the labor might even be a tiny bit less because they
don't have to mess around with takening off the old boots and cleaning up the
bearnings and repacking them with grease and putting on new boots, I THINK
I've read where list members have had complete axels replaced for about
$300.00 for both sides. Maybe somebody can confirm this for you. If this is
so then you would know that there should not be any future problems coming up
with your axels soon again and you've spent just about the same amount of
money as the cost of just the rubber boot replacement, but like I said its
just a thought.
