I am thinking that the valve(s) cracked or a timing belt ripped which if
true could have caused a whole lot of other damage to the head. How did your
friend blew his? What did he tell them and what did they say to him? I
actually brought my sentra to the dealer two weeks ago because it developed
a whining sound in 5th gear and the technician was perplexed how the
transmission can go bad so fast in relatively new Nissan car. He was nice
and asked if I would want to drop in a brand new transmission. But I'm
guessing the sound is normal so I'll just keep mine. Thanks bro! =)
