Answer: I did check all the fuses and relay. They were all fine. I had a brand new
(well,... 3 months ago) alternator, and about a year old battery (900 cold cranking
amp). I checked the electrical output, and got 12.3 volts. I also checked the plugs,
and they got good blue sparks.
My co-worker also suggested that I look into the fuel pump. I checked on some prices
for it. Tim Dahle Nissan has one for $248 (12 month, 12K miles warranty), AutoZone
and Pep Boys did not carry it, and Checker (Kragen or Schucks) has two brands (Master
$169 and AC Delco $305). Both carry lifetime warranty.
Before I spend this much money, is there a way to check if the fuel pump really is the
culprit? If it is, how do I fix it and which one should I consider?
Thanks.
