More like your tensioner. 
Sounds like you're experiencing start up clatter.
What might be happening is the oil could be draining
out of your tensioner overnight. Resulting in your
timing chain being slighty loose for a few seconds
after startup. Once the oil pressure rises,the
tensioner will "pump up" and apply tension to the
timing chain.

This is a common problem with the SR20DE,and I suspect
other Nissan engines too. 
Not too big of a deal,just as long as the clatter goes
away immediately after the engine oil pressure is up.
Worste case scenario,you could end up having to
replace your tensioner.
