Hey I finally was able to work on the car, work keeps me busy. I calibrated
the voltage on the TPS and it works great. The idle seems smoother to me
now, but that may be from me cleaning all of the electrical connectors and
using di-electric grease on them for good contact + I cleaned the AAC valve
again and installed a new PCV valve when I put the new valve cover seals in
and the PCV seal on the cover. I plan to take the PCV from the intake to a
Cusco catch can to get the damn oil blow by out of my intake manifold.
Everytime I open the plenum up soot and such is in there. So this will occur
soon. But anyhow, the TB in theory should allow more air into the engine and
thus create power, right? well I only noticed a quick throttle response,
but the overall mid and top power did not increase. Reason being, the cams
are not pulling and pushing enough air in and out. So, the mod did not
accomplish anything really, but I got a bigger 66mm TB on the motor! Mike
said it might work once the cams and ECU are are on there. So, at any rate,
the engine has a deeper sound and a crisper response. This is fine with me,
it helps the slush box a little with take off.
