Yep,, thats right you can goto PepBoyz, Autozone, Etc. Etc.. and just get one 
range colder plugs.

As for your timing its hard to say,, only dyno testing will bring out the 
optimum timing without detonation.

On my mustang stock timing is 10*BTDC and they say to start off at 5*BTDC and 
work your way up...    But beware when you start working your way up,, if you 
go to much,, melted plugs, pistons, and head gasket failures begin to occure 
(gotta love nitrous)

Best method is a couple hours of dyno time with a WIDEBAND O2 sensor that 
allows you to tell if you car is running lean and can tell you when you hit 
your peak HP figures..

A Bigger Fuel Pump might also be in order for yah or at least make sure you 
fuel system is up to snuff. I.E (clean injectors, bigger maybe, High Volume 
Fuel Pump)
