I echo your thoughts and beliefs also. We have been doing routine screening 
since 2006 and this has allowed us to catch people early in the sepsis process. 
qSOFA needs to be tested prospective as well as the rest of the SEP-3 
definitions prior to adopting them for clinical identification and management 
of sepsis
