Hi Damian, We have two scenarios in the application (production database):
1. Insert Into Table 1 Insert Into Table 2 2. Insert Into Table 1 Insert Into Table 2 Update on the Table 3 Insert Into Table 1 The volume test I've done is for scenario 1 where we do not have locks... Scenario 2 is new. I will run a test with and without sequoia for it somewhere next week and post the results. In meantime if you are interested these are the results I've got some time ago doing the volume test for scenario 1 with sequoia 1,2 and 3 backends and without sequoia. If you are looking at the tests 5 (131 TPS) and 7 (132 TPS) they are almost the same. When running the same tests (tests 6 and 8) without FK constraints in the database the difference is big 144 and 681... Do you know why this is happening? At that time I was using sequoia 2.9 Test 1 ---------- Sequoia with 3 Postgresql backends with Referential integrity constrains TPS = 121 Test 2 ---------- Sequoia with 3 Postgresql backends without Referential integrity constrains TPS = 128 Test 3 ---------- Sequoia with 2 Postgresql backends with Referential integrity constrains TPS = 123 Test 4 ---------- Sequoia with 2 Postgresql backends without Referential integrity constrains TPS = 133 Test 5 ---------- Sequoia with 1 Postgresql backend with Referential integrity constrains TPS = 131 Test 6 ---------- Sequoia with 1 Postgresql backend without Referential integrity constrains TPS = 144 Test 7 ---------- NO Sequoia, 1 Postgresql backend with Referential integrity constrains TPS = 132 Test 8 ---------- NO Sequoia, 1 Postgresql backend without Referential integrity constrains TPS = 681 Thank you, Ioana --- Damian Arregui <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Ioana Danes wrote: > > In this scenario and the TPS > > dropped from 122 to 18, which is unacceptable... > > > How many TPS where you executing on the backend > without using Sequoia? > > > Damián > > > _______________________________________________ > Sequoia mailing list > [email protected] > https://forge.continuent.org/mailman/listinfo/sequoia > __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
