I have no time for a deep review, but I just remember one thing about crypto related code: please make sure you update every ASF bit needed by changes in the release structure. We have to declare what packages contains crypto stuff, and merging the project probably means we have more packages involved by this. Also the requirements about the crypto notice must be checked (not sure it is OK to have it only in the subfolder, now).
