Hi Noel not sure what you mean. I'm familiar with SSH. All I'm saying is that my server doesn't support graphical user interfaces full stop. I access it using telnet from my LAN or SSH from outside. So non-graphical UIs work for me or, to get the best of both worlds, web based interfaces since there are text based browsers that I can use from within my Telnet or SSH session.
