Also to remind myself if I ever need to do it again :-) It's correct to say that very many tech people have thrown in the towel and flock to gmail etc. I sort of half see what these people tend to say, half not see at all and think despite the fiddling you have to do to set up, it should be done anyway. I would NEVER try and run my email on a windows system - or anything else come to that. I've been exclusively using linux for 20+ years.
