Hi Milt,

Apache works well with SSL, if you use SSLeay (a free SSL library) together
with mod_ssl - module to link it with apache.

Probably the only problem in US is that you must use RSA cryptographic
library instead of those included in SSLeay..

Having Apache compiled with both Jserv and SSL module will allow you
to run servlets using https://... calls.

(or even other servlet engine, by proper configuration of the proxy
 apache module)
