If you use JavaMail, download the API
(http://java.sun.com/products/javamail/) there is a servlet example there.
I believe Jason Hunter and Karl Moss' books have email examples.
The book "Java Examples in a NutShell" has an example using a URLConnection
(don't remember what page but look in the index)
