You can use JRun or others with Apache.

I've been using Apache+JServ for a while and am very happy with the results.
We've been using it to serve up environmental, datawarehouse, monitoring,
financial and self service HR apps. These all connect to Oracle RDBMS
back-ends.

JServ is open source, so if you do hit something that you really, really
need, you can add it in, and pass it back to the group for inclusion.

The email list is very helpful, as there are many active users on it. The
core JServ developers seem to be pretty active on there too, which is also
very helpful. There are some very big sites that are doing work in
load-balancing, etc., and their people are on the list too.

See you on the list,
Thor HW
