Ok. So I think that is the best note with which to end this offtopic debate.
A reminder: People join this list with the understanding that the subject
matter will be restricted Servlet technology. There are many other forums such
as newgroups for general debates like this. Sun has many other discussion
groups, and places to send in feedback on particular technologies.
The volume of this list is high. One of the prices people pay for being on
this list is the sheer volume of email. That is the reason for focussing in on
one area.
Please no more on this thread.
I'm resending the policy notes for this particular list. Those of you that
have not read it yet: please do so. If you want a list that has a completely
different policy: please go join one that has the policy you like or start
your own, and let me know to remove you from this one.
