Dear all,
SIP's grammar and architecture has been largely based on HTTP, and this
makes servlets an obvious candidate for creating SIP applications. Our
company currently offers an application server which exposes a SIP
Servlet API, and we wish standardise the API [the SIP forum
(www.sipforum.org) as the Specification Lead] i.e. the creation a
javax.servlet.sip package. I wonder if anyone on this list (especially
from Sun) has any opinion about the standardisation of SIP servlets.
Regards,
Chris Harris
