We would indeed be submitting a JSR - and the classes in the javax.servlet.sip
would match as closely possible their equivalents in the javax.servlet.http package.

It naturallly make sense that this specification has the backing of the servlet
community as well as the SIP community. It would be great to have Sun as a memeber
of the SIP Servlet expert group when it is formed. We want to ensure that the SIP 
servlet
specification not only extends, but also complements the Servlet Specification.
