I don't see why this is a point of contention. People can use
whatever they want, as long as they can get it to work, no one ever
said otherwise. All I'm doing is pointing out that, 1) it may not
work, and 2) the JWS is no longer being actively developed. For all
we know, this was news to the original poster, and it may change their
mind about what direction to go in. (And your analogy isn't really
appropriate -- we're not talking about changing the entire
language/platform that is being used, but one component of the
framework.)
