Hi, The following works with Tomcat. I don't know about other Servlet engines :-(
Just place the war files in the webapps folder and then start tomcat. Upon startup, tomcat will automatically uncompress the war into a folder by the same name. e.g. if your app is called "demo", then it should be stored in a war called demo.war. When tomcat uncompresses this war, it will create a folder called "demo" The url for this app will then become "http://localhost:8080/demo" -- assuming that you are running tomcat as a standalone application, and accessing it form the same machine. 31/10/2001 9:26:20 AM, anoop <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > > > Hi, > Does anybody know how to deploy .war files (web archive). > Right now i extract the war files and then run them..they do not run > > directly...if anybody knows how to, then please suggest me. > > regards, > anoop _________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
