A few weeks back I had to push the big red button and nuke my DW. Everything worked out OK and it's been humming along ever since.
Today a couple of service requests were brought to my attention on a report that I wrote that gives an SR summary and breaks out the activities to show their status. We do this for purchase requests so we can keep track of where each request is in the process at a glance. A couple of them are strange though - one of them has a status of Completed in the production DB but if I query it from DWDataMart the SR shows as In Progress yet all the sub-activities show as Completed. Another SR has its first 2 activities as Completed and the 3rd activity is In Progress - and the overall SR is In Progress. If I query it in the DW the SR is In Progress as it should be but Activity 1 is Completed and Activities 2 and 3 are BOTH Active. Both SRs were created a few days ago and both obviously moved into the DW. I'm just not sure how to account for discrepancies like this...hoping somebody who understands more about how work items get updated can help me out. If the report isn't consistent between live DB and the DW db it's not going to be very useful. So far only these 2 have been brought to my attention but now I'm concerned there are more.
