Dan,
I have seen our list administrator, Jeff Foust, drop people when they
forget to remove themselves from the list when they turn on an
auto-responder service, such as when leaving on vacation. As you can
imagine, it creates a nasty never ending circle.
Perhaps this is what happened in your case (not pointing any fingers,
mind you, just a passing thought).
