OK I have Plone running but still get ZMI error from Plone Controller:

Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at localhost:8090.

I did edit the entry in Plone.conf and set the port to 8090 not 8080. I know
nothing about ports and so this was a guess. Plone now does start using
Plone controller. By logging in as Admin I can get to the setup and from
there to ZMI. However the ZMI button in Plone Controller gives the error
mentioned. Using the ZMI through an admin log in of the Plone site should be
fine. Thought I would update this thread in case it helps others.

I would be pleased to learn more about ports and how to interrogate them to
find out what is using them but so far I've been looking in the wrong
places.

Not sure why my previous attempt at using 8090 didn't work. Maybe my error -
maybe because I hadn't restarted after trying 8080. This time the edit and
run attempt was the first attempt of my session. Guessing again...!
