Hello!

First, I tried a search for this issue but found nothing like it. So, now
I'm posting.

Yesterday, 01, September, 2010, I downloaded and installed the posted Plone
installer dmg for the Mac. When I ran the installer it took a very long time
- like maybe 30 minutes to complete - and when it finished I had only 3
applications left in my Applications folder and 3 left in my Utilities
folder - it deleted 99% of all my apps, over 45GB worth and now I see that
there is some data missing elsewhere because after reinstalling my
applications I still have 12 GB of space _more_ than I had before the
accident. I'm never going to try that again!!! :)

Please don't suppose I'm new to the Mac, I am not, I've been using the Mac
since the nineties. I run a home-based Mac repair service, I beta test for
two different software developers and help one of them with tech support.

I looked for log files for Plone but found none. The only thing I found was
for Zope: "Sep 1 20:13:16 Mac-Sweep Installer[1172]: The following install
step failed: run postinstall script for Standalone Zope. Contact the
software manufacturer for assistance."

The only thing I can add, I saw there was different options for installing
but chose the standard install option.

I'm not complaining; I just hope this helps someone.

Regards,
-Dan
