Mark,

See:
http://docs.sun.com/source/819-6255/cdm.html

Section on "Configuring the drives available to Unix, Linux and Mac OS X
clients"

There is an example of native-cdm-config file.

Regards,
David

Hi,

I need some pointers please.
I have installed SGD V4.3 (4.30.915) onto a Sun server running Solaris 10.
This server is also configured as a SunRay server.
Behind this SGD server is a Windows Terminal Server 2003 system.
Basic operation works fine and I can access all published applications (Solaris & Windows).

Now what I want to do is set things up so that the SunRay users can login, then when they run any Windows 2003 apps, have the option to save files in their Solaris home directory (eg. /home/username). I don't want any files saved on the Windows 2003 server. I have installed the temwin32.exe (4.30.915) and enabled Client Drive Mapping in Array Manager. I have also added a line under CDM attributes in Object Manager to map all drives, RW. I can successfully map drives from a remote PC, but not sure about mapping from the SunRay clients? I read some notes about editing a file called "native-cdm-config", but cannot find any details of what this file should contain. Currently this file does not exist.

Is this the best option, or would it be better to use Samba?
If so how do I stop CDM using port 139 (even when it's disabled)?

Thanks

Mark
