On a similar subject... I have been investigating the use of IDSL in
my setup at home. I'm too far from the CO to get ADSL, and I
don't have cable access, and probably wouldn't buy it from
Adelphia anyway. Can I use STN with an IDSL bridge? Has
anybody done this before?  They say I will get a 144K connection;
does this require them to install two IDSN connections, that the
bridge then runs DSL over? (That is my understanding of what
IDSL is -- ISDN Digital Subscriber Line) The biggest problem I have
with it so far is that it's $50/month (as opposed to my current 56K
connection at $20/month), and I only get one email account; I pay
extra for more than that, and I need at least two extras, preferably
three or four.
