[ShareTheNet] comparing STN with SyGate

I've just gotten two NICs for a spare 486/66 and installed SyGate. It 
slows down my cable modem rather substantially. The architecture of 
STN makes sense to me. Will it be much faster than SyGate, or am I 
wasting my time on this old 486?
