Sharity has become more GUI centric since we support Mac OS X. All
configuration done by the GUI is stored in cfgdb.ppl. The daemon writes this
file only when you change something in the GUI. When you edit the file by
hand, the daemon will read it within 5 seconds after the change and update
all GUIs. Changes done by hand will only be lost if you change something
else within these 5 seconds. So there's no danger for you...

This is an automatic mount. See the "automount" section in cfgdb.ppl. Simply
delete the section which mounts /CIFS. After restarting the daemon (or
unmounting /CIFS with cifsumount as root), you can simply delete the empty
/CIFS directory.
