Im not going to reply bullet by bullet because I think your message is very
well thought out and agree on nearly all points.

I just want to reiterate though - that if the current owners make the new
board just them or not much bigger, not much will really change unless their
first action is to vote and start adding more members.

Scott pointed out that the list size is 84, so my first suggestion of adding
everyone is withdrawn.

But I think the initial board needs to be "fluffed" a little bit if the
situation is to actually change materially. Electing a board that consists
of the same people who are in defacto control won't change things much.

I'd suggest we put out a poll to ask who is interested. That list is
compiled and decided on. Its my guess that the list would not be over a
dozen people, if even that large. IF so - its my suggestion that the best
thing to do would be just accept those in faith that anyone interested
enough to stay on the list and reply should be granted initial access. From
that point on though closed as you say and only entry by vote.

Any objections to at least polling and seeing who is interested and
collecting those names? Non bininding this point - just to see how big the
interested list would even be.
