The Shelby Daytona model was discontinued mid-year 1991,and was replaced
with the Iroc Daytona model. The build sheet would then say Iroc Daytona
as the model, and included "IROC " door decals along with other
features. In 1991 mid-year thru 1992 ,any IROC Daytona equiped with the
2.5 turbo I motor mandated the secondary sales code of the Shelby
Performance Package to cope with the extra power. That would then add the
big brakes, better exhaust, front and rear "shelby" decals (door still
said "IROC" ) ,and CS Pumpers for the 1991 cars (1992 wheels
unknown). The cars were then called a Shelby/IROC's because they had both
packages, and were very rare. There were about 327 made for the mid-year
1991,and about 230 for all of 1992. Most of the midyear 1991
Shelby/IROC's had the "G74" highline package added which included the
ultra nice speckle seats with a more durable fabric. The bottom line is
that the Shelby/IROC's were very well equiped and expensive. For some
reason Chyrsler Executives ended up with most of them.

My 1991 IROC/Shelby was owned by chrysler headquarters until Dec 2004,at
which time I became the first owner.Until then, the car was listed as
unsold on the chrysler dial network. The car is white with white
pumpers, red "IROC' door decals, red "SHELBY" decal in the rear,G74
highline black cloth seats,sunroof,infinity tape player-no cd,rear
louvers,cargo cover w/white daytona lettering,rear defroster,no rear
wipper,big brakes,smaller 1 1/8 front swaybar,turbo I with the three
speed automatic/overdrive A413,the stamped fender tag with the vin # in
front of the radiator says ( RAP JOINT) have no idea what that means? The
car was wheel kept over the years, and looked like new when I purchased
it.Won first place at the large local mopar car show with 400 cars
entered .
