I wish the brackets and hardware were better. The butt-welded/small surface area for the vertical brackets don't inspire long-term confidence. Also the hardware is a little lacking. No offense intended but these seem to be of the same build style and quality as the cheap braces sold on eBay for Hondas.
For clearance on the cars with the hood vents, you may need to change the brackets to use two cross braces angled to clear the hood vents. Perhaps the rear brace could also have provisions to be bolted to the firewall to increase rigidity.
