My 87 GLHS did that last fall. They quit for no reason. Then a few days later they were working again. A couple times afterwards they would give me a few problems, but then seemed to fix themselves. I assumed the electrical connector got moisture in it and froze or just got corroded. I never did look at that, but it may be something for you to look at. Good luck. Bob
