Neil Thanks, I typed that too fast.
Can I pull the 2.2 in the GLH and drop in a remanned long block sold as "for automatic transmission cars only" with no problems or issues? Thanks again. You'll need the complete trans, torque converter, flex plate, shields and bolts. The flex plate to crankshaft bolts are different than the bolts for a manual transmission flywheel. Beyond that, you'll need the shifter & cable, and different brake pedal (if you want it). Also will need the transmission mount, kickdown cable (and hardware at throttle body) and the wiring for the reverse lights/neutral safety switch. I'd get the trans and kickdown cable stuff from a turbo car, and everything else from a NA L body. ____________________________________ Neil Emiro - ND Performance http://www.ndperformance.com Thomas Tancula <[email protected]> wrote: >Is there4 any difference between the automatic and manual transmission 2.2 >engine blocks?
