Most of the SD mailing lists have been pretty quiet lately, I was hoping this
post would wake things up a little..

I understand, if it doesn't cause any improvement I could always use it when I
redo my 1987 Shelby CSX.

I wouldn't have a problem with that. Being it's a minivan it can use some
"remasculating" which is why I put on a Flowmaster muffler for a deeper,
improved sound and at a great drone at the right rpm.

I remember seeing some tips Johnny Spiva posted on his polybushings.com
website.

Some people I've spoke with said it's a good idea to remove it to improve upper
oil flow to the cam. Can there be too much oil pressure on the upper end
without it?

>They make some very nice bearings nowadays... don’t skimp

That is one advantage we have today that wasn't as good in the late 1980's &
1990's.

What would be a good amount? 30 over, 40 over, etc. What style of pistons for
this application?

I remember something about people using a new technique with using a followers
or springs from a PT Cruiser.
I wonder if that would apply for this combination?

I can ask about that when the machine work is done. Thanks again for the ideas.
