Hi there, I was thinking of packaging Shoes for Debian, mainly because I think it would be useful to have such a package, so that people on Debian systems and derivatives have an easy way to install Shoes and create apps (and because somebody had already nudged me to create such a package), and possibly because it will expose it to more people.
_why, I know you said somewhere that you are going to devise a way to create apps that come bundled with Shoes (though I don't remember where or when you said that, or how that would work for multiple OS'en) -- if you think that such a thing would make a Debian package useless, then, umm, I won't create one. ;-) Otherwise, I hope somebody out there will think this is a good idea.
