Ahahaha, looks like its *only* scroll and height. Should have tried some
more. Looking at shoes_slow_new(), of course, we notice this handy comment:
// create the slot off-screen until it can be properly placed
So, yeah, looks like the slot never comes back *on* screen like it
should. Not sure where that's supposed to happen at.
