Hi Juan, welcome to Shogun and great that you are interested :) The best way to get involved is via a patch. Maybe refactoring stationary kernels entrance task is a good one to start with? But pick any (easy) thing to get started. If you want to benchmark Shoguns GPs (in mlpacks benchmarking framework, see the various discussions around KMeans issues and PRs), the would be great as we have no idea how fast they are compared to sklearn.
