Tflan, I agree with you 100%!! I am criticized almost every round for not lifting and cleaning, rolling out of a divot, not taking a "gimme", playing a provision when the whole world knows that the damn thing probably landed in the river and etc.
Now having said that, I don't like the USGA and The R & A divergence in rules and there are perhaps other dumb (IMHO) rules decisions like the split decision on our host's gloves. That is where the USGA and I part company!!
