Thank you all for your responses, sometimes I don't get a chance to thank you people for answering my questions, I have to get on the computer late at night after my wonderful kids are done with it. I have a full time job along with my part time business. This is my second year in the clubmaking-clubfitting business(7 years as a cut and gluer) :-) and I have had Three times more customers than I did my first year. Some nights I'm up until 1AM finishing a set of clubs for a customer that wanted them two days before he walked into my shop. Some of these jobs I couldn't have done without your help. Again, thank you all. Oh yea, everyone is out of the house so I have time to play with the computer. Got to get up early tomorrow again, I have a tee time at Scotland Run.

Subject: ShopTalk: spining matched clubs?

I have been frequency matching clubs for some time now and I am now trying to go one step further. I would like to start building clubs that are frequency matched, swingweight matched and spined.(Graphite shafts) What is the best way to go about this? Finding the spine first then sorting them, or sort them first- match them to the heads dry fit and then find the spine? I tried the later and found that the slope would be off. I use the club scout III as my means of testing frequency. Is there a step by step procedure that should be followed? TIA
