The regular flex shaft has a different tip flex profile from it's stiff flex counterpart. That is, if we were talking apples to apples, the stiff flex would still have a stiffer tip section profile. Are you thoroughly confused yet? That being said you might have to tip 1 1/2 inches, or so, to achieve your goal.
