Unfortunately you don’t, but if I get a head from a supplier and it has sticky residue in the hosel, it points in that direction and I get on the phone right away. Most are willing to take it back and send another and I figure the expense of the extra shipping is offset by having to redo a club that mysteriously developed a rattle after a couple of whacks! To me it is “cost avoidance”!!! If some one brings in an OEM that has a rattle, I have been able to get almost all out but it is time consuming and I tell them up front that I charge according to how hard it is to fix. I can’t control what the OEM’s do, but I can control my product!!!

Yes, you could heat up the sole and capture it again but that is when I decided I would no longer accept mouse-glued product!! And that is where I stand!!

Fair enough. That's cool. It does beg a question though. When you think about all the clubheads on the market, OEM and aftermarket, how do you know which one's have the mouseglue in them and which don't?
